(UTC)
The Universal Therapeutic Cabinet
(UTC) is one of the most basic, multifunctional and universal
pieces of equipment available. It has been widely used by
rehabilitation professionals in Europe for over thirty years. The
cabinet was originally designed to be used for treatment of highly
challenging patients with varieties of mobility dysfunctions. Such
as:
- Orthopedic
- Burns
- Neurological: TBI, CP
- Rheumatoid
- Many other acute or chronic conditions.
Treatment
focus can only be isolated joint, multiple joints, or the whole
body. The suspension system enables the therapist to carry out
full body suspension, active, active-assistive or self assistive
exercise with or without resistance. The UTC can be used as a
supplementary rehabilitation device. The design of the cabinet
allows the therapist to use additional equipment such as
rehabilitation table, upper and lower extremity rotors, shoulder
wheel, and cervical and lumbar traction systems. This equipment is
provided with the standard package.
The unique suspension system provides the patient with safer
and more effective treatment. The cabinet itself is ideal for
space conservation. The rehabilitation professional is able to
create an environment where several patients can be treated in a
relatively small area and still be able to perform individual
treatment plans for each particular patient.
